କୋଭିଡ୍ ସମୟରେ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ରଖିବା ଦରକାର। ଛୋଟ ପିଲା ଓ ବଡ଼ମାନଙ୍କ ଭିତରେ କୋଭିଡର ଲକ୍ଷଣ ସମାନ ରହିଛି। ଯଦି ପିଲାଙ୍କଠାରେ ଆଖି ନାକରୁ ପାଣି ଗଡ଼ିବା, ଶରୀର ପୀଡ଼ା ହେବା, ଜ୍ଵର ଆସିବା, ନିଶ୍ଵାସ ନେବାରେ ଅସୁବିଧା ହେବା ଭଳି କିଛି ଲକ୍ଷଣ ଦେଖାଯାଉଛି ତାହେଲେ ତୁରନ୍ତ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ହସ୍ପିଟାଲ ନେବା ଆବଶ୍ୟକ। ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ କୋଭିଡରୁ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ରଖିବା ପାଇଁ ବାପା ମା’ଙ୍କ ଗୁରୁତ୍ଵପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ଭୂମିକା ରହିଛି। ଅଭିଭାବକମାନେ ପିଲାମାନଙ୍କୁ କୋଭିଡ୍ ଉପରେ ସଚେତନ କରିବା ନିହାତି ଦରକାର। ହାତ ଧୋଇବା, ମାସ୍କ ପିନ୍ଧିବା ଏବଂ ସାମାଜିକ ଦୂରତା ବଜାୟ ରଖିବା ବିଷୟରେ ପିଲାଙ୍କୁ ବଝାଇବା ଦରକାର। କେତେ ନୂଆ ବାଟ ଭିଡିଓ ସିରିଜରେ ଯୋଗଦେଇ ୟୁନିସେଫ୍ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସ୍ୱାସ୍ଥ୍ୟ ଅଧିକାରୀ ଡାକ୍ତର ବ୍ରଜେସ୍ ମେରତା କହିଛନ୍ତି। Brajesh Merta, Health Officer, UNICEF, Odisha discusses the need to protect children during COVID-19 by teaching them COVID-appropriate behaviour like regular hand-washing, maintaining social distance, wearing masks etc. As no COVID-19 vaccine is currently available for children, it is vital for us to be careful and protect them from infections. Many New Paths (Kete Nua Bata), in its second season, is a joint media advocacy campaign by OdishaLIVE and Swasthya Plus focused on children & young people during COVID-19.
